Award-winning artist Leslie Anne Webb is scheduled to display her artwork 4-8:30 p.m. May 13 at the Viscusi Elson Interior Design and Rutt of Los Altos showroom, 382 First St.
Interior designer Gina Viscusi Elson will host a meet-and-greet reception for Webb, who plans to premiere her latest work.
Webb will provide background on the inspirations for her paintings.
Webb has been painting and drawing horses since she was 3-years-old. A self-taught artist, Webb’s mother, the artist Kathleen Lack, guided her artistic endeavors. Galleries across the country exhibit Webb’s work.
Webb donates her art and a portion of the proceeds from sales to charitable organizations that benefit animals, such as the United Pegasus Foundation, Animal Save and the Light Draft Horse Sanctuary.
For more information on Webb, visit www.lawebb.com.
Rutt HandCrafted Cabinetry and Rutt of Los Altos will provide hors d’oeuvres at the reception. Conrado Home Builders will supply the wine.
Admission is free and open to the public. Space is limited.

Rob presented the ins and outs of how to use a website as an effective marketing tool. We were happy to be the hosts for such an informative event for our fellow interior designers.

The Phantom of the Opera is Here...at Hollywood Hosts
Gina Viscusi Elson and April Hocking went "inside our minds" with a tablescape designed for Gentry Magazine and the Stanford Park Hotel's Hollywood Hosts Event for Peninsula Youth Theatre. The idea was to stage a table as though the character in a movie was the host of party. Gina and April envisioned the Phantom luring Christine to his cave where they "sing together in a strange duet and his power over her grows stronger yet..." The tablescape, featuring a collection of objets d'arts and one red rose, was raffled off to benefit Peninsula Youth Theatre.
Neiman Marcus joined the fun and they did a tablescape for "Little Mermaid" - it was a fanta-sea come true! Six tablescapes total, the raffle and auction brought in significant money for this wonderful children's theatre. The entire event will be highlighted in the May 2009 issue of Gentry Magazine.
A few of the talented Peninsula Youth Theatre kids performed songs from their upcoming season.
Tiffany & Co was there too. Their vignette was "Ocean's Thirteen." They always choose a film that relates to Tiffany & Co. and apparently Brad Pitt wears a Tiffany watch in the movie : )
